QuickPose Train

Privacy Policy

Last updated 16 July 2026

This policy explains what Sliced Backhand Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects when you use QuickPose Train, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the QuickPose Train web app.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — your email address and authentication credentials (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us).
  • Team data — team names, membership, roles, and the email addresses you enter to invite teammates.
  • Content you upload — exercise videos, and everything derived from them: joint angles (range of motion), body landmark coordinates, rendered overlay videos, the stages you tag and the feedback you write.
  • Billing data — your plan, subscription status and customer identifier. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe; we never receive or store them.
  • Usage data — log and analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location from IP, browser and device information.

2. Video and body-pose data

Videos you upload typically show identifiable people, and our analysis derives detailed data about their body position. Depending on where you and your subjects are located, this may be treated as sensitive or biometric personal data under laws such as the GDPR or US state biometric laws.

We process this data only on your instructions, to provide the analysis and features you request. We do not use it to train models, sell it, or share it for advertising. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and the informed consent of everyone appearing in the videos you upload.

3. How we use data

  • To provide the Service: analyse videos, store exercises, and generate exportable code.
  • To operate teams, sharing content with the members of the team it belongs to.
  • To take payment, manage subscriptions and enforce plan limits.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, debug and improve reliability.
  • To communicate with you about your account and service changes.

4. Who we share it with

We use these providers to run the Service; each processes data only as needed:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and video storage.
  • Our pose-processing infrastructure — receives your video to run pose analysis and returns the measurements and overlay render.
  • Stripe — payments and subscription management.
  • Google (Tag Manager / Analytics) — product analytics, via cookies.
  • Our hosting provider, for serving the application.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We also use Google Tag Manager to load analytics that help us understand product usage; these set cookies and may collect your IP address and device information. You can block cookies in your browser, though sign-in requires the essential ones.

6. Retention

We keep your content while your account and team exist. Deleting an exercise removes it and its stages and feedback; deleting a team permanently removes that team’s exercises, videos and feedback. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period. Billing records are kept as long as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. You can delete most content directly in the app; for anything else contact us at support@quickpose.ai. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Where you upload videos of other people, you are the controller of that data and we act as your processor — please direct their requests to yourself in the first instance.

8. Security

Access to your content is restricted to your team by database-level access rules, and data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children and you must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live) to hold an account. Uploading video of a minor requires the consent of a parent or guardian.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in the app or by email.

12. Contact

The data controller for your account data is Sliced Backhand Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12080961, with its registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
